A magyarországi vágóhidakon 74,2 ezer darab szarvasmarhát vágtak le 2022 első három negyedévében, 7,4 százalékkal kevesebbet, mint az előző év azonos időszakában, sertésből 3 millió 357 ezret vágtak, 6,9 százalékkal kevesebbet (–250,1 ezer darab), mint 2021. január–szeptemberben. Baromfiból 154,2 millió darabot vágtak 2022 első három negyedévében, 11,8 százalékkal kevesebbet, mint a bázisidőszakban. A levágott baromfi élősúlya összesen 468,2 ezer tonna, vágott súlya (tisztított, bontott súly) 354,2 ezer tonna volt ebben az időszakban.
In Hungarian slaughterhouses 74.2 thousand cattle were slaughtered in the first three quarter of 2022, which is 7.4 per cent less than in the same period of the previous year, and 3 million 357 thousand pigs were slaughtered, 6.9 per cent less (–25.1 thousand heads) compared to the January–September 2021 period. In the group of poultry 154.2 million pieces were slaughtered in the first three quarter of 2022, 11.8 per cent less than in the base period. The total live weight of slaughtered poultry was 468,2 thousand tons and the carcass weight was 354,2 thousand tons during this period.
