A joint meeting was held at the Research Institute of Agricultural Economics (AKI) by the Innovation and Digitization Support Unit (ITE) and the Soil-X-Change project, along with domestic representatives of Horizon Europe projects and international networks. The primary goal of the meeting was to bring together initiatives that are supporting agricultural advisory services and identify synergies in potential collaborations.
A total of 17 projects, networks, and platforms were represented by Hungarian partners to better understand each other’s goals and to jointly consider how to align their communication dissemination and exploitation activities, thereby helping Hungarian agricultural advisory services.
In the first part of the workshop, participants presented the initiatives they represent through short presentations. These covered the objectives of their projects, as well as events planned for 2025, public content, and other professional activities.
During the second part of the program, participants talked about synergies that may lead to more effective implementation. The conversations focused on joint planning, shared resources, and potential future partnerships. The aim was to define concrete steps toward stronger networking and greater collective impact.
At the end of the event, participants agreed to continue working together, establish communication channels to share knowledge, and organize meetings on a regular basis—hoping that this joint thinking and planning effort will lead to fruitful, long-term professional relationships, and advisory competencies that are more adaptable to sustainability challenges.
