A magyarországi vágóhidakon közel 23 ezer darab szarvasmarhát vágtak le 2022 első negyedévében, 1,2 százalékkal kevesebbet, mint az előző év azonos időszakában, sertésből 1 millió 115 ezret vágtak, 8,2 százalékkal kevesebbet (–100 ezer darab), mint 2021 január–márciusban. Baromfiból 46,3 millió darabot vágtak 2022 első negyedévében, 18,5 százalékkal kevesebbet, mint a bázisidőszakban. A levá-gott baromfi élősúlya összesen 144,7 ezer tonna, vágott súlya (tisztított, bontott súly) 108,3 ezer tonna volt ebben az időszakban.
In Hungarian slaughterhouses almost 23 thousand cattle were slaughtered in the first quarter of 2022, wich is 1.2 per cent less than in the same period of the previous year, and 1 million 115 thousand pigs were slaughtered, 8.2 per cent less (–100 thousand heads) compared to the January–March 2021 period. In the group of poultry 46.3 million pieces were slaughtered in the first quarter of 2022, 18.5 per cent less than in the base period. The total live weight of slaughtered poultry was 144,7 thousand tons and the car-cass weight was 108,3 thousand tons during this period.
