According to the data of the AKI Market Price Information System (MPIS), the producer price of domestically produced slaughter pigs (not including VAT and transport costs) was HUF 805 per kilogram hot carcass weight in May 2025, representing a decrease of 4.5 per cent compared to the average price a year earlier.
