In July 2025, we installed the Enviro-Detect™ microclimate and air quality sensor in the calf barn at Hunland’s site in Bugyi as part of the ET4D project testing phase. The device provides real-time measurements of air temperature, humidity, air velocity, as well as carbon dioxide, ammonia, and dust concentrations inside the barn.
Our goal is to develop a web-based data management system that contributes to reducing air pollution and improving transparency in the sector. The system will enable the integrated analysis of data from various on-farm sensors and support tailored information sharing across the different interest groups in the dairy value chain – from producers to consumers.
